Our client is a stylish, Modern and unique Elderly Care who is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to join them on a full time permanent basis. This opportunity is situated on the outskirts of Galway in a small town with direct access to the motorway.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Quality and Patient Safety: Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient safety. Monitor and evaluate nursing practices and outcomes, implementing necessary interventions for improvement.
• Staff Development: Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting their professional growth and development. Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the nursing team.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Establish effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and patient-centered services.
• Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor and manage nursing budgets, ensuring financial accountability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid license in Ireland.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Nurse Manager or Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Strong clinical background and knowledge in various nursing specialties.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement methodologies.
