International Candidates

To work in Ireland, healthcare professionals must meet specific registration and employment permit requirements.

At NUVO, we specialise in supporting all healthcare staff, including doctors, nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, and healthcare assistants, throughout this process.

For EU Workers:

Healthcare professionals from the EU benefit from free movement and do not require employment permits to work in Ireland. However, registration with the relevant professional bodies is essential. NUVO assists with this, whether you need to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), the Medical Council, CORU, or other regulatory organizations, ensuring compliance with Irish standards.

For Non-EU Workers:

Navigating the pathway to obtaining an employment permit for Ireland can be challenging for non-EU healthcare professionals.

NUVO’s experienced team simplifies this process by offering step-by-step guidance:

  • Registration Support: Assistance with meeting the requirements of the NMBI, Medical Council, CORU, or other relevant bodies.
  • Documentation Assistance: Help with gathering and submitting the necessary documents, including qualification verifications and language proficiency tests.
  • Employment Permits: Guidance on applying for Critical Skills or General Employment Permits, tailored to healthcare roles in demand.
  • Visa Application Support: Advice and support in securing the appropriate visas for living and working in Ireland.

NUVO ensures that every healthcare professional, whether from the EU or outside, experiences a seamless and efficient journey to their new career in Ireland.
